Top 10 Items For Your Nappy Bag

As you are most likely already aware, getting ready to go out now that you have a baby is not as simple as it was before. We have put together this checklist of items to keep in your nappy bag to help speed things up a bit. Feel free to contact us if we have left anything out.

1. Nappies: Always take more than you think that you will need. If your baby only even gets through three nappies during the day, take five. Always plan ahead in case you are longer than expected.

2. Baby Wipes: Just like with nappies, take extra. Baby wipes come in handy for cleaning up spills, wiping hands and more than just there intended us.

3. Change of Clothes For Baby: It's a good idea to take a complete change of clothes for your baby. You never know when this will come in handy. Sometimes even with a leak proof nappy the mess can escape, so a change of clothes is an essential item for the nappy bag.

4. A Top or Shirt For Yourself: One things for sure when you travelling with a baby, and that is your bound to get some sort of mess over you at some stage or another.

5. Resealable Plastic Bags: These are ideal for keeping soiled clothes or nappies in until you get home.

6. Extra Food and/or Milk: It is a good idea to take some extra food or an extra bottle of milk, just in case your baby decides to increase his/her food intake or if you are out longer than you planned.

7. Plastic Changing Pad: These are very handy to have when you need to change a nappy on the go. You can pick one up from most baby stores, these usually come with the nappy bag.

8. Blanket or Warm Clothes: Sometimes the shooping centre can be quite a bit cooler than it is outside and also you would want to be caught out by a cool change forcing you to go home sooner.

9. Extra Pacifier: If your baby uses a pacifier, it is a good idea to carry a spare one at all times. They do tend to got missing from time to time.

10. Doctors Phone Number: This is something you alway hope you want need, however, it is a must have for any parent on the go.
